It’s not just my opinion
A little over 10 years ago, I got a life-changing email.
It was an intro to a small database-as-a-service startup founder right in my own hometown.
We met up at the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) office, now closed. We walked over to Bailey’s Tap Room, also unfortunately no longer operational.
But we kicked off a collaboration that has continued, informally and officially—I worked at that startup for a year, then for its acquirer for another 18 months—ever since.
Tony Falco has founded and joined several developer companies. He also ran the marketing function for many of them. And he’s advised countless others.
When we get together now, we talk about technical content a lot. It was natural that one of these topics would become a blog post eventually.
I’m thrilled to publish it on the EveryDeveloper blog: The Analytics-Driven Approach to Developer Content.
Since Tony has often been the one receiving updates from others, he knows the kind of metrics they want to see.
His post digs into how to operationalize those metrics.
Check it out and then put at least one of his ideas into practice.
